H.E.A.R.T. has come a long way since 2015! We have grown in number and our reach has expanded nationally. We have participated in events on UCF's campus and in the surrounding community, including AIDS Walk Orlando, UCF's World AIDS Day Banquet, and the National Black AIDS Day Community Health Event. Additionally, we partnered with the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development's African American Concerns Wellness Taskforce to organize an HIV Awareness Day at the 2018 American Counseling Association Annual Convention in Atlanta. Through these efforts we are helping to reduce HIV stigma and increase knowledge and awareness of HIV and AIDS among UCF students, community members, and mental health professionals.
